Our Training

We offer an FAA-approved training course. Our course focuses on federal aviation regulations as well as:

  • Air Traffic Control
  • Aircraft Systems and Performance
  • Communications
  • Emergency and Abnormal Situations
  • Flight Planning
  • In-Route Charts and Instruments Approach Procedures
  • Meteorology
  • Navigation
  • Practical Dispatching
  • Use Of Weather Charts

Full-Time and Part-Time Study

We offer a full-time, five-week course of eight hours per day, five days a week. For part-time students, we offer a 13-week course program of two, four-hour weekday evenings and one eight-hour weekend. The cost is $3,495 plus examiner fee for the practical test. Additionally, a full-time distance course, with on-site testing is in development. Students are responsible for their own lodging and meals. Included in the cost is:

  • Written FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge Test
  • Binder With Study Guides 
  • Flight Bag With Study Materials
  • Textbooks
  • Reference Materials

Dispatchers

Accelerated Course

If you have prior experience or other FAA certifications, you are eligible for our accelerated course by submitting a resume proving your experience or sending copies of your certifications. Our instructor determines the level of credit you are eligible for based on the successful completion of a few verbal and written tests. The cost depends on amount of credits and the remaining hours of coursework needed.


Flight Attendant

International Students

We assist you in obtaining an M-1 visa, train you for your FAA license, and help you prepare a resume. In addition, we help you find a hotel with transportation to our facility.

Requirements

You must be at least 21 years old to take the knowledge and practical exams. To be issued a certificate, you must be at least 23 years old. You may work as an assistant dispatcher or a flight follower if you are younger than age 23, pass the airline dispatcher course, and have an FAA Letter of Aeronautical Competency stating all requirements have been met. Additional requirements for an FAA Dispatcher Certificate are:

  • 200 Hours Of Instruction and Instructor Endorsement for Testing
  • Pass the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge Test
  • Pass the FAA Practical Exam
  • Have a Level 4 English Proficiency
